Gold color with a medium head. Strong wheat and Munich malt aroma. Light banana flavor. Very yeasty. Tastes very much like fresh liquid bread.

Light yellow. Seemed a bit too light for me, hoping for a bit more sediment. Was ok. Not the best hef out there, not the worst. Was a little bit sweeter than I care for in a hefe and I had to drink this cooler than I would have liked as it was a bit too carbonated, but to be expected from an import bottle, I guess.

Paulaner Hefe-Weissbier Naturtrüb, 500 ml bottle at 5.5% ABV. At Irish Pub in Sundsvall, Sweden. Pours a golden shady beer with a huge white lasting head. Typical wheat beer banana scent. Nice refreshing taste with banana aftertaste.

Had on tap last night at a local restaurant. Pours a very cloudy medium yellow- much lighter than weihenstephaner. Billowy lasting white head as well. Aroma is a good balance between spicy earthy clovey phenols and fruity banana esters with a nice wheaty profile. Flavor is smooth sweet wheat, light clove spice, some pepper, citrusy and zesty. Nice smooth palate although seemed a bit slick after a while and became annoying. Pretty solid hefe.

Excellent light tasting beer with playful flavour of banana et al. Are we sure that we’re not getting our daily dose of Vitamine C with this beer?

Classic example of a hefeweizen. Unexceptional, but really competant in all respects. Lightly wheaty aroma, refreshing on the tongue, and sweet clean malt taste.

On tap, Cafe, Lille, France, 28-06-07 Nice warm golden pour, lovely clean flavours with vanilla being the most dominant, but with some banana and citrus thrown in there too. Really nice beer, had lots of before but never rated.
