Aug 2, 2006 On a sea view cafe in Satorini after a day in the sun - a perfect place for a weisse. Proper grainy feeling of wheat malt, round flavour with a hint of yeast and a fine lemony finish. I had one more!

Jul 17, 2003 This beer poured a large off-white very creamy head with small-medium bubbles that was long lasting. The body was cloudy with carbonation observed. The hue of this beer was golden and there was good lacing on the sides of my glass. The nose was that of banana and clove and the flavor was fruity. The mouthfeel was very smooth, thin and watery. I was not extremely impressed with the taste of this beer as it lacks some character in my opinion as German Wheats are one of my favorite styles of beer.

Sep 1, 2002 Updated: Mar 21, 2003Great hefeweizen! Highly recommended. Perfect example of this style of beer. Classic cloudy blond when the yeast is mixed in. Some fruit notes and spice notes throughout the taste. Very refreshing, as a hefeweizen should. Pick one up today and enjoy.

May 27, 2006 Bottle. Brilliant white head and a nice cloudy orange body. The aroma is lightly citric and bitter, and the flavour is very smooth, refreshing and citric with a syrupy texture. Overall a very nice beer.

Apr 16, 2003 Updated: Apr 17, 2003Starts with a frothy, pillowy white head. Scent of bananas and bubblegum. Excellent, cloudy, light orange appearance. Flavor has a hint of cloves and bananas. Overall, an excellent wheat. Kept passing this up because I always thought I had rated it - then I saw it missing on my "most accessible list" - only 3 to go and I will have all 50.

Draught at 20.Karlovački Dani Piva, Karlovac, Croatia. Beautiful hazy orange coloured. wheaty and fruity (banana, lemon) aroma with notes of sweet corn. Slight acidic finish. Very nice brew.

May 16, 2009 On tap at Bedford-Bamberg Spring Fest ’09. Hazy orange with a small white head. Clove, wheat and yeast in the aroma. Sour wheaty taste with some banana. Slight bitterness. Not bad.

Jan 14, 2007 Beer 40 Summer 2006 trip in Europe. Drank on 7/6/06 at my hotel in Frankfurt, purchased at a little convience store. Overall defent Hefe, nothing super special, very refreshing.
