Banana aroma. Taste is rather mild but rather complex with the banana, wheat, some citrus and mild spices. Doughy yeast. Medium creamy body. Soft carbonation. An easily drinkable beer that’s mild enough for the occasional drinker yet solid enough for the real beer lover. You won’t hear me say anything bad about this beer. Actually you won’t hear me say anything at all since you are reading me. Rune (2863), Tromsø, Norway

Yellow golden with a nice white head mostly lasting. Hazy body. Aroma of sweet grain and citrus. Sparkling. Light bodied mouthfeel, but well balanced flavour with the sweetness of banana and the acidic of lemon. A touch of malt in a rather short ending. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada

Decently powerful banana nose. Creamy medium body showing banana but not a heck of a lot of clove. Mild finish. A very understated and somewhat refreshing beer. thebeertourist (2838), Oslo, Norway
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 4, 2006 Cloudy orange with an above-average head. Good banana and vanilla nose. Flavours start sweet and fruity, gradually developing spicier and drier. Some grainy texture, quite sparkling, but not overly so. Probably my favourite hefeweizen (so far). beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA

Strikes a great balance of sweet banana esters, dry wheat, light clove, and light citrus hints. Palate is lively carbonated and perfectly balanced. One of the best hot summer day brews in my opinion. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
