Pale yellow, hazy; moderate character for the style - all the elements are there, not very assertive though. Finishes hoppier and yeastier than some.

Bottle
Cloudy golden color. The classic weißbier aroma range, dry, quite light. Some characteristic flavors, but too weak; just a bit spicy. Simple palate, as well.

(draft): Murky cider-colored body with small white head. Aroma is very strong, banana and wheat, yeasty -- missing clove but otherwise great. Taste is lemon up front, some banana, wheat. The moderately sweet banana is complemented nicely by the lemon. Finishes banana. Very carbonated.

Draught
Hazy orange color, small off-white head. Lemony nose. Light to medium-bodied, refreshing. Crisp, orange-lemonade and wheat flavor. Easy to drink hefeweizen, lacks depth - quite standard.

Draught at Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Cloudy orange/gold with thick tight white head. Banana/lemon/touch of bubblegum. Refreshing, very good hefeweiss. Finish has lemon and banana, but it feels light and fluffy. Quite a nice dry feel

This was one of the very first foreing beers I ever tasted - back in May/June 2004 - and my grandiose rating was: Dry, OK beer!! Now it’s a year later and the rating goes like this: A typical wheat above average. It’s nicely balanced with sweet and nice notes of flower, honey, wheat, banana and apple. Uncomplicated and easy to drink. 7/3/7/3/13 2007.09.03 New rating: Orange-yellow, unclear, huge, creamy head. Both aroma and flavor has mild notes of banana, wheat, yeast and light clove. Easy to drink, but also a bit on the thin side, and not so full-bodied - but quite OK.
