Slightly sweet and fruity flavor with yeasty notes, however, the fruitiness tastes slightly over ripe or rotten. Light bodied and smooth. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA

Light flavor and less bitterness than most beers. I haven’t had enough German Wheats to be able to judge it against it’s style, though. Good beer. Boutip (2385), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Very complex mix of spice with a fresh taste of wheat. Overall a good example of the style without being the best of the category. badlizard (2372), Berkeley, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 22, 2007 Tasted at Stone Brewery. Good aroma of banana and cloves, which are just as apparent in the taste and ends with a crisp finish. A good beer for the end of a hot day. BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 20, 2005 This beer had some flaws. The light aroma was a good start but the over powering sour nose did not help. A good golden copper color helped. A good amoutn of haze. This had a great wheat flavor but was over powered with eh clove like flavor which should not be in this beer. It was ok but it could have been better. I am hoping it was an old bottle. Aroma was primarily wheat in the background, with some citrus, spices, and even a bit of dishwashing detergent. Hmm? The flavor was a crisp wheat and citrus. Overall refreshing beer, but nothing to write home about. Decent Hefe. Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 28, 2003 Draught, at The Well, London. Murky blond with all the trimmings. The satin feel to this beer is amazing encompassing all aspects of the beer. From start-to-finish and top-to-bottom. Smooth citrus and banana bread flavours. Sigmund (2294), Hafrsfjord, Norway

Started drinking it with a warm meal, not a good idea - much better on its own or with a light snack. Enormous long-lasting head, pleasant but not very strong aroma. Flavour has all the good elements a beer of this style should have, a bit too sweet though. Rerate: Sweetness does not come through quite as much this time. Lovely aroma. A good hefe!
