BEAUTIFUL pour, AWFUL taste. Head is gorgeous and thick with medium lacing. First sip made me wince (seriously). There is an aftertaste I cannot put my finger on...blood?...a handful of coins?...ball bearings? Seriously, it tastes like bannana bread and auto bumper combined dusted with yeast. Highly over-rated beer. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Draft at Flying Saucer. I can’t believe I have not logged a rating. It pours a hazy orange amber with a white head. Very assertive banana bubblegum nose. Light bodied, but refreshing with that great unfiltered mouthfeel. Initial flavor of lemon, banana, and tropical fruit that transitions to a tame yeast clove finish. A solid hefe, pilsnerrogge (1784), Finspång, Sweden
