Oct 14, 2005 After a long search, I’ve finally found this..... in a bar near my uni. Great. 0.33l bottle, drank from a Paulaner weissbier glass. Said 5.5%, but same thing probably. It poured an enormous, thick white head, gold/orange colour. Not as misty as some, but who cares. Well carbonated. The nose was spicy, with hints of bananas maybe, not as assertive as in, say, Franziskaner, but nice enough. The taste was....well.... good. Typical weissbier taste, only better. Banana, lemon, yeast. Pleasant stuff. Faint banana aftertaste. Doesn’t beat Franziskaner in my opinion, but that one’s a sentimental favorite, and that probably has something to do with it.

May 8, 2005 Updated: Jan 28, 2006Pours light golden and hazy with a white frothy head. Aroma is banana, bubble gum, cotton candy and toasted malts. Taste is bready with a spicy yeast character that has trouble living up to the aroma. Notes of toasted malt, wheat, and cookie are also present. Tart and lightly acidic finish. Body is thin and highly carbonated. Quite enjoyable. Despite having tried hundreds of beers, this is still one of my favorites.

Oct 26, 2004 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Hazy orange with nice bubbly white head. Aroma is cloves, bubblegum, yeast and banana. Taste is true to the aroma, quite sweet, some malts, dry, smooth with a sort of spicey finish. Moderately carbonated. Very good hefeweissbier.

Jan 15, 2003 Excellent German wheat beer, hazy & cloudy appearance, straw dark gold in color, poured out to a huge white head, when the head finally disappated a bit, it laced around the glass the whole way down, flavors of banana, a little bit on the tart side, a little bit of a spicy yeasty flavor as well, very smooth & very drinkable, I certainly wasn't disappointed in this beer

Aug 24, 2006 Bottle pours a classic hazy lightorange yellow witha very nice creamy egg-white looking head. Lots of Bavarian yeasty notes in the aroma. Spices and cloves and a littel bananas. Flavor is a creamy banana with some other fruity and light clove like spices. Very soft creamy feel,. and a lively but fine carbonation. Classic German Hef!

Mar 1, 2008 Bouteille de 330 ml, acheté à l’SAQ de Rosemère (Québec) le 28/2/08, bu le 1/3/08. Blanche orange brumeuse, petit collet. Arome de crème de blé épicé, banane et petits fruits. Goût de blé peu épicé et malté, très légé et très rafréchissant.
