Nice banana notes to it....Great mouth feel but really didn’t impress me. Nice color and aroma as well as good head retention. I did brew a clone...Almost...I added more to the malt bill for a higher gravity and used an American Heff. liqued yeast.....Now that one impressed me!!!! I just thought it needed more of a clove note to it. LilBeerDoctor (1531), East Setauket, New York, USA

Pours a nice golden yellow with a beautiful thick, creamy white head. Aroma and taste of wheat, citrus, banana, spices- your typical hefeweizen. Smooth to drink, very carbonated, light-bodied taste. An excellent hefeweizen, although not my favorite of the style. Still, I love my hefes!
Update 6/13/08: On tap at local bar. I don’t know if the keg was fresh, but this draught version was not as good as the bottle version I had. Spices were less pronounced and it was less flavorful in general. Flat too. I won’t change my rating and hopefully can get a better tap version of this. yobdoog (1530), Woodridge NY, New York, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 9, 2004 Very nice orange-gold cloudy body with a dense bulky head. Wonderful fruity (orange, banana) and lightly spiced aroma with some pleasant bubblegum notes. Taste is sweet, refreshing and well balanced. It ends with a fair bittersweet yeasty final. Good example of Bavarian Hefeweizen. Finn (1510), Tromsø, Norway

Disappointing aroma: Watery. Some fruity and spicy hints. No distinct aftertaste either. Too carbonated. Some sedimentation. 17thfloor (1507), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 19, 2008 Pours gold with some tiny bubbles and a large off-white gorgeous creamy head. Aroma of bananas and bread. Not a whole lot of banana flavor, ts a bit on the fruity side, very dry and soft. Lemon yeasty finish. Palate is decent. Its alright.
