Peppery clove and sweet banana and wheat rule the aroma. Body starts fairly normal for the style, with some thin carbonation and a lightly sweet malted wheatiness. Has some bready yeasty notes and a touch of lemony citrus toward the finish. A pretty average Hefeweizen. hopscotch (5490), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 19, 2004 Murky, deep golden lager with a large, frothy, white head which diminishes to a small, creamy, white head. Thick, creamy lacing.
The nose is spicy and malty. Soap, clove, honey and lemon. The flavor mirrors the spicy, malty aroma and then delivers a big blast of lemon zest. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, semi-dry, tart finish. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England

Banana and clove in the aroma. Slightly tart and tangy, wheat, banana etc flavoours, with a yeasty finish, and also a bit hoppy, quite refreshing, fairly standard German wheat, but that not a bad thing. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 3, 2005 Bottled at a Thai Restaurant in Cologne, 500ml. Opaquly orange is a good descriptor with big head. Plenty going on with this, a rich wheaty base with fruity orange notes and a touch of clove with I think, just a little nutmeg. Then a sweet almost manufactured strawberry like flavour that dominates the rest of the beer. Quickly finishes, refreshing with a modicum of interest. Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark
