The aroma is sweet banana, yeast and some hoppy hints. It kind of prickles on your tongue, and then a very sweet flavor of banana and clove. Very good thirst quencher! Cloudy amber/gold with a big white head that leaves a delicate layer of foam after a few minutes. Tart and sweet banana aroma with plenty of yeastiness. creamy medium body with fizzy but smooth carbonation. Rerate shows much more fruity and interresting flavors, maybe even a little more than i would like. almost no hops in the finish. On par with the other bavarian weissbiers I’ve had, but not special. Rich, deep golden orange/amber color. Huge head. Very cloudy. Faint fruity aroma, citrus, banana,
Rich, austere flavor. Big wheat malt and banana, spicy, sweet but mildly so, nice bitterness, little sour or fruit. Excellent balance. Mature tasting, something slightly funky going on. Rich malts all the way. Medium to better body. This is great even from the bottle in Japan. I know it was better on draught in Munich, but alas, no ratings survive!
