Draught: This one pours a cloudy darker golden color. Slight hints of orange to the color. There was a small white head. The aroma was quite nice. It was yeasty, wheaty, and spicy, also with notes of banana. The flavors mirrored the aromas. A very nice beer.

Bottle. Hazy but not cloudy in pour. Dense meringue looking white head. Slightly sharp and minerally with banana and a hint of clove with a little cardboard. Thin and watery in body. Fast finish with a bit of lingering banana flavor. Not my favorite hefe. That said, the draught version is worlds better. Look at the extreme difference in ratings. Even with German engineering, Paulaner can’t give us the Hefe that we would like to have. Try Live Oak.

I didn’t have a bottle in front of me, so I couldn’t read to see what the hell was in this thing. Neither I nor my friend could pinpoint the aroma or initial aftertaste - something very herbal, almost minty. Kind of strange, to say the least. But this beer was very refreshing, and went down incredibly smooth, despite the fact that I couldn’t put my finger on some of the flavors.

Pint Bottle...Poured a thick, hazy, golden orage with a great frothy white-to-beige head that lasted quite a bit. The palate was well carbonated with flavors of strong bananas, toasty malts and yeast, very sweet and sugary. Smooth finsh with a slight metalic kick back. One of my fav German Weizens.

Tap - Lemons and candy, that was the aroma. A cloudy body with a decent white frothy head. A fruity mouthfull with a yeast-hop finish, very enjoyable!
