Jun 10, 2006 Bottle produced 12.05. Poured a hazy orange/yellow with a two finger, frothy, white head. Both the aroma and flavor found a nice balance of banana, citrus, and clove. Light body and slightly watery which was very refreshing on a hot day.

Sep 21, 2003 Although hefeweizens are not my favorite by a long shot, Paulaner makes a very good example of the genre. Dark yellow, cloudy, nice aroma, wheaty & yeasty as far as flavor goes. A good beer.

Jan 10, 2007 (Tap) Pours a hazy golden color. Aroma of citrus and banana, with light spice in the flavor. Mouthfeel a little light compared to some of the better examples of the style. A good hefeweizen, but not the best I have had.

Aug 24, 2008 Pours a hazy orangish yellow with a big puffy white head that linger for a while leaving good lacing. Lots of carbonation bubbling up in this one. Smell is textbook hefe with lots of yeast and cloves with a huge fruity banana sweetness on top. The taste is a little less sweet than the smell indicated and had a heavier dose of the spices and a more prominent hop presence. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a ton of carbonation. This is a very good hefe and extremely drinkable - makes for a wonderful summer beer.

Oct 13, 2004 On tap at The Ruck in Troy. Poured golden yellow with a white head that dissipated completely. The aroma was not as prevalent as I would like, but smelled of some fruit and spice. Taste was pretty standard for a hefe, but nothing too special. Tasted of a little banana with some aromatic spice; not as strong as Ayinger Brau Weisse. Was better with a twist of lemon.
