The aroma was not as prevalent as I would like, but smelled of some fruit and spice. Taste was pretty standard for a hefe, but nothing too special. Tasted of a little banana with some aromatic spice; not as strong as Ayinger Brau Weisse. Was better with a twist of lemon. Goodgrief (1161), Middletown, Delaware, USA

Smell and taste was banana with a touch of lemon. Clove taste also noticeable. In my book, not as good as Weihenstephaner...but my beer hating wife took THREE sips of this beer and said, "I could drink this." So, this will reappear in my fridge for certain. :) OKBeer (1159), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 11, 2008 Cloudy golden pour with a foamy white head that lasts a while. Aroma of yeast, wheat, banana, clove and citrus. Smells exactly how you expect a good hefe to smell. Flavor is yeasty and citrusy, with the spice coming through more on the finish. Smooth and refreshing on the palate. A really good hefe. redlem (1155), Illinois, USA

Good flavor and aroma, bananas and bubblegum. A good overall beer. Cartoonkhaki (1150), Brantford, Ontario, Canada
