Very mild flavour with little banana or clove. Generally citrusy. Perhaps meant to be a hefe-weissbier for the non-wheat beer drinker - though very drinkable, it seems like a subdued example of the style. There's nothing wrong with this beer and I would certainly drink it again - it's just not what a German wheat should be. Bottle. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA

Pours from the bottle with a cloudy gold color and a large white head. Aroma is bananas, bubblegum and tangerines. The taste is sweet with tomatoes, bananas and some honey. A solid hefe. bhensonb (4276), Woodland, California, USA

Aroma of wheat, banana, clove, but not hop. Hazy orange gold color with a transient white head. Starts with medium mouthfeel, that true banana component, followed by spice and wheat. The finish is kind of dry. Bitterness seems present, but not identifiable as a particular hop type. Pretty nice. BBB63 (4232), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2003 Cloudy yellow with huge head, little lacing however, medium-bodied. Dough, lemon, banana, and spices detected in the aroma. Chewy wheat feel in the mouth despite the fizzyness. Sweet with less fruitiness bite than other hefeweizens from Germany. Dry, earthy aftertaste. After drinking some American wheats, this one stands out, a good hefe, but not my favorite. cgarvieuk (4183), Edinburgh, Scotland

Big bananna aroma with some spice. This carried over to the flavor as well as some yeast flavors. As it warmed there were more lemon flavors noticable. Light to medium body with a fruity finish
