Pours a cloudy dark golden yellow brew with a thick white slowly diminishing head. Nice lacing. Aroma of wheat, yeast, banana, bubble gum, and citrus. Taste is very mild, medium creamy and soft carbonation. Finish is soft and dry with a slight banana aftertaste. A terrific summer brew. Ughsmash (4042), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 24, 2009 Bottled. Poured healthy, hazy medium orange with a thick, well-retained cap of white head. The aroma picked up deep banana notes accented by white peppery notes, cloves, and sweetness in the form of bubblegum and vanilla.. very well presented. The flavor had toasty, darker banana and vanilla notes at the core, with tart lemon zest and cloves surrounding.. balance was solid. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated on the palate.. just a little watery at the very back, otherwise a great feel. HogTownHarry (4020), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 17, 2005 Bottle (330ml). Poured murky orange with a huge slightly off-white creamy-rocky head. Aroma strong with banana esters, tobacco ash, sweet malt, spices (coriander, pepper), a bit of hops and wheat. Taste is a bit tart, very citrusy (lemon/orange), with some hop bitterness and sweet malt, spices and the ash bitterness overall - very mild flavour, really, light asgtringent mouthfeel. Quite pleasant, not overly memorable, but one of the nicer Hefeweiss beers I’ve tried. Sammy (4019), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 30, 2004 Not too tooty-fruity as others of this type, rather more balanced. Decent aroma. Light yellow cloudy colour. Tasty citrus is drinkable. Malt nice with food. Not crazy on some of the spices as pepper. In your face carbinations means an uneasy mouthfeel for some. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 11, 2003 Cloudy golden yellow appearance. Small, fluffy head, with good lacing. Aroma of yeast and fruit, banana. Fruit notes in the taste, smooth on the palate. Has the usual wheat beer notes, but a bit muted. A very nice beer, but not in the top ranks of wheats. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
