Tastes of honey and fruit. Sweet, but well-made and balanced. Excellent weißbier.

Cloudy yellow with a monster white foamy head if poured right. I drink this every time I get the chance, and have mastered giving it a giant head as seen in the pictures. Not many beers look better than this when you got a 7" head off the glass. Aroma is of bread, cloves, and banana. This brew has a great banana taste that is complimented by cloves, and possibly some other spices as well as bread. To me this is the defining beer of this style. This beer is the reason I can’t resist trying others of this style.

One of the weiss that that all others have to be measured against. really nice. The aroma reminds me a bit of walking into a cows barn when the farmer just has been milking. The flavor has got some banana notes

Ahhh... Those guys at this brewery know their stuff. Excellent Hefe Weiss! Has all teh classic hallmarks of the quintessential bavarian weiss beer. Pours with a nice white fine head and good lace. Typical cloudy yellowish amber color. Good sharp tang and carbonation. All the traditional esters in this kind of beer. Easily a session beer. Very clean pleasant finish. I’ve been drinking this for many years and I believe that it’s actually improved over time. Having a mug a this at Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin. USA

Gift from Shan’s Uncle Mark during a nondescript visit--ever so thoughtful of him...pours a perfect cloudy haze with a four-finger head that settles into sparse cumulus clouds...fresh citrus smell...soft palate, smooth and crisp...as far as long-range partying through a hot day, this is the most available choice, sure to win even the most apprehensive beer drinkers...

Produced on date 08-05. Pours a pale orange/straw color with a creamy two finger head that settles to a thin cap, and leaves behins a really nice webbing of lace. Smell; oranges and lemons, ripe bananas and bubblegum. There’s a nice bready/yeasty aroma, with a bit af a grassy/hay quality to it. The smell is really inviting, I have to make myself take a sip. Taste; nice hints of oranges and lemons without being overly powerful. Ripe bananas stand out, as well as bread dough. I like how the wheat comes out without being heavy, as well as a nice spiciness with cloves in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a nice carbonation that makes this vary easy to drink. I cna’t believe that I avoided this style so much until recently. Between this and the Weihenstephaner, I am definitley becoming a fan of this style of beer.

Appears a hazy cloud of gold with a 2 finger white head that slowly fades. Streaky & spotty lacing. Smell is of banana, clove, along with wheat and a touch of creamy vanilla. Taste is of zesty wheat with a clean banana and clove freshness. Mouthfeel is slightly peppery and fizzy with a medium body and some banana sweetness coming through. Drinkability...this is the one that sets the bar for me for the style. Appearance is much better on draft but this is still a great beer out of the bottle.

Bottle. Wonderful golden yellow color and subtle citrus taste typical of hefeweizens. This is one excellent weissbier. One of my favorites.
