Big citrusy nose and great effervescence on the tongue. Sooths your thirst. imawayforapint (17), , Alberta, Canada

Pours nice and golden til you swirl in the dregs from the bottle, then the cloudy yeasty spice hits you. Superbly tart and refreshing, not mouth puckering but definitely wakes your mouth up. Good hefe... beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA

Strikes a great balance of sweet banana esters, dry wheat, light clove, and light citrus hints. Palate is lively carbonated and perfectly balanced. One of the best hot summer day brews in my opinion. judasbeer (277), Budapest, Hungary
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 23, 2009 Quite cloudy orange with thick, creamy head. Classic wheat character in the aroma with bananas, vanilla, bubblegum, some spices. Moderate acidic initial flavor. Bready, clear grainy maltiness with a subtle spicy edge. Crisp clove finish. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Classic german hefeweizen. tagz (335), USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 31, 2007 draft. cloudy orange, brown. almost looks like an unfiltered cider. tart apple taste with a light yeast aroma & flavor. a thick and fruity hefe. i haven’t tasted anything like it to date. very drinkable. the only downside was that the sediment and heavy sugars left me moaning in bed for the better part of the next morning. its a fantastic beer, but not a good one to end a session on. ;) Carl99Fan (186), Suwanee, Georgia, USA

Gold in color with medium carbonation. Slight haze. Well rounded palate with medium body. Definitely a beer for summertime in Hotlanta.... kflorence (93), San Diego, California, USA

Pours a thick amber orange color with nice foamy white head. Smells like wheat, citrus, spice and a little yeasty. It is slightly fruity, very crisp and dry and finishes with a lemon, wheat and yeast flavor. Very smooth on the mouth, very refreshing! Reminds me of a slightly less fruity version of Franziskaner with a slightly higher alcohol content. I like this a lot. 184601 (144), Mexicali, Mexico
