My new favorite hefeweizen. Expensive and tough to find in CT, though. I will relish this 6 pack. Guinnessman (89), VACAVILLE, California, USA

Goes down well with a Bratwurst and a hunk of Brie. Requires a slice of orange dropped in to set it off just right. DrBayern (1137), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA

Aroma - Banana, clove, light fruit and grain all contribute to a traditional hefe aroma
Appearance - Cloudy yellow orange that has to be poured carefully because of the explosive, billowing white head that shows good durability.
Flavor - Excellent balance of flavors with the fruitiness of the malt complementing a light wheaty tartness and soft dryness at the finish.
Palate - Light body, healthy carbonation, smooth and clean palate
Overall - A very fine hefeweizen in the classic tradition from one of Bavaria’s most respected brewers. marchcow (664), Coralville, Iowa, USA

Aroma is very potent and sweet. Tastes very bready and thick, light citrus (orange). Body is incredible - completely coats my mouth, great carbonation and a thick, chewy body. Wow! A very nice wheat beer, a bit on the subtle side as far as spicing goes, but very pleasant. More of an early fall or late spring beer rather than a summer beer. Tasty! bochi23 (90), USA
