This is a great tasting beer I didn't know what I was getting into when I got it and I'm nicely surprised! Cloudy yellow gold. Didn't have a huge head but it did have a wonderful aroma and flavor. Sweet and yeasty nice and smooth.

On Draught, Cloudy yellow colored with giant head which took some time to settle. Fresh wheat aroma with subtle notes of clove and yeast. Not as pungent as some other weizens, yet more of a clean taste. Bottle rated 9/12/04. Beautiful dark gold color that is clouded with yeast. Perfect looking snow white head that lasts. Pungent aromas of wheat, clove, yeast and banana. Full bodied and a filling brew. Great wheat flavors with a slight acidity. Peppery, spicy, clove and good yeast flavors. Overall one of the best German Hefes. Prost!

Quite possibly my favorite session beer. Strong aromas of clove and cinnamon with some banana and yeasty spice. Palate is delightful light to medium light and quenching. White head stays to the last, but mine don’t last long.

Wonderful hefe aroma of banana fruit and spice. Hazy deep golden color with a fluffy white head that stayed around for awhile. Mildly sweet. Touch of orange citrus, slightly sour, lots of banana and spice. Creamy, buttery texture. Very drinkable. One of my favorite Hefes.

A great by-the-book German Wheat! Pours golden and fizzy with a thick head; great in a tall glass. It has a tart taste with pronounced wheat and yeast tones. Very drinkable and inoffensive though the taste is moderately strong. A lemon would make this a near-perfect afternoon beer.

Bottle, 6 pack, LCBO. Man, a world class Hefe at the LCBO and I never knew...cool. Anyway - pours a beautiful hazy medium yellow with a huge frothy white head with great lacing and lots of active streaming bubbles - perfect. Very nice yeasty, dry, some citrus, lemon, hint of banana aroma. Taste - bang on style again - full flavoured, full bodied yet very refreshing, drinkable, and perfectly carbonated. Tangy citrus, yeast, lemon in taste - maybe just a little more here would get it perfect marks if I was being extremely picky and is finished a little short for me. But really, this is as good as a Hefe as you are likely to find from the bottle - I’d put it second only to Dennison’s on tap here in Toronto. A nice discovery.

Refreshing without being watery or bland. Perfect summer beer. Orange and cloudy appearance, with Incredible head- in a weizen glass you can get it inches above the top of the glass without overflow. Yeasty aroma. Lemon/citrus taste, some spiciness. Walk to the nearest place that carries this (preferably more than a mile walk), work up a sweat, then drink about 20 oz to really appreciate it.

i could have sworn i had rated this. one of my standard goto hefe’s when i need a hefe. this one is bottle. pours cloudy orange tinted tan with a towering white foamy head. aroma of sweet banana bread and pepper. taste is sweet pear and banana tangy yeast flavor that mixes with the clove/pepper in the finish. very thick mouthfeel that leaves a a lot to chew on when it is gone. a good beer all the way around
