Great color and great head. Not as dry as Franziskaner, a great beer from such a large brewery

Orange in color. Cloudly. White head that lasted awhile. Scent of hops and citrus. Some citrus flavors and other I couldn’t nail down. Sweet and refreshing. Very good. Flowery, has a very soft feeling in the mouth.

Murky, orange apearance. Nice, fluffy head with good lacing. Yeasty, malty aroma. Lots of flavor from the fruit and spices with the malt in the taste. Touch of hops for good balance. Smooth, refreshing finish. I'm ready for another.

Draught, at The Well, London.
Murky blond with all the trimmings. The satin feel to this beer is amazing encompassing all aspects of the beer. From start-to-finish and top-to-bottom. Smooth citrus and banana bread flavours.

12 oz. brown, long-necked bottle. Freshness date of 02/05 seen in lower right corner of front label.Still fairly fresh then. Poured out a cloudy orange-yellow color, with a bulky head. It left a more than decent head and lacing along the sides of the glass. Aromas are of banana, cloves, and yeast. Malts make a brief, but strong appearance in the aromas as well. No hops aromas evident.Thick mouthfeel. Not thin or cloying. Slight phenolic character to it, not offensive in any manner. Finishes tart, and clean. A top notch wheat beer.

Appearance: perfectly cloudy straw yellow, with a majestic white head atop. Aroma: everything you want in a hefe weizen, fresh, citric, fruity, but still somehow dry, straw-like, so very lemony, and that element of yeast fills the nostrils as well. Excellent texture, great play on the tongue, spicy, but smooth. Fresh, fruity, delicious. Medium bodied, tasty, longish finish, very memorable flavor. The yeast and citrusy taste dominate and create a most adequate beverage for any occasion. Drinkability? I could toss down a million of them! I still rank Schneider and Weihenstephaner up above, just slightly, but there’s not a thing wrong with Paulaner’s offering, not a thing at all!

Wonderful and complex barage of flavor, lost of citrus and spice. if you let it warm a golden honey flavor starts to come through. nice beer.

Bottle: Yellow orange cloudy colour, aroma is fruity and heavy on wheat. Taste is typical hefe with notes of banana, bread dough and vanilla. Lack a bit of character for the style; I don’t understand the commercial description.
