Pours typical for the style, nothing to stand out, but nice initial crowned head, good lacing. Cloudy and golden. The aroma was a soft balance of spicey phenolic compounds and a smooth wheaty base, some bananas. Definitely doesn’t overwhelm on either side, again decent balance within the hefe world. Mouthfeel was moderate for the style, this thing was really drinkable, as the flavor wasn’t cloying or too strong (I love Franziskaner, but can’t session them). One of my limited draft experiences was a little bit sulfury, not sure if that is typical for this beer.

It’s hefe season for me and this is a favorite. Citrus notes with some slight spice elements and a clean taste. Nicely carbonated and finishes well. No need to "hang fruit" on the side with the citrus notes. Best on tap.

Very mild aroma. Moderately carbonated. Very smooth taste, nice and malty with that classic hint of banana. Fresh, crisp, very good.

One of my favorite Hefeweizens. A good wheaty flavor with a crisp finish and nice golden color.

Cloudy, golden, with white head. Smells largely of bread - wheaty, malty, sweet, with some interesting spice and fruit notes (apple?). The flavor is quite nice - very wheaty, hints of hops, and large doses of yeast - delicious weizen yeast (bready, sweet, cloves, fruit). Mouthfeel is medium feel with a decent bit of carbonation zing.

Pours a deep yellow, slightly orangish tint, with a nice white, lasting head. Fair amount of lacing in a Weizen glass. Very smooth, nice citrus flavors and decent finish. Can’t wait to try on tap. A good hefe readily available.

Thick white head that will stay all day if left undisturbed, brown/orange color, It also has some beautiful lacing. Smells lightly of bananas. Has a great taste, a little fruity, where you can again pick out a banana flavor. Very palatable. This is a great Hefe, I highly recommend it.

Pours an opaque golden yellow with medium off-white head. Big wheat and some citrus on the nose and the taste. Different from the "American style" hefes I’m used to, but I enjoyed it. A great refresher on a hot summer day.
