Cloudy and golden. The aroma was a soft balance of spicey phenolic compounds and a smooth wheaty base, some bananas. Definitely doesn’t overwhelm on either side, again decent balance within the hefe world. Mouthfeel was moderate for the style, this thing was really drinkable, as the flavor wasn’t cloying or too strong (I love Franziskaner, but can’t session them). One of my limited draft experiences was a little bit sulfury, not sure if that is typical for this beer. Citrus notes with some slight spice elements and a clean taste. Nicely carbonated and finishes well. No need to "hang fruit" on the side with the citrus notes. Best on tap. Smells largely of bread - wheaty, malty, sweet, with some interesting spice and fruit notes (apple?). The flavor is quite nice - very wheaty, hints of hops, and large doses of yeast - delicious weizen yeast (bready, sweet, cloves, fruit). Mouthfeel is medium feel with a decent bit of carbonation zing. BrandonB (87), Denton, Texas, USA

Fair amount of lacing in a Weizen glass. Very smooth, nice citrus flavors and decent finish. Can’t wait to try on tap. A good hefe readily available. Cornsloth (16), East Wenatchee, Washington, USA

Smells lightly of bananas. Has a great taste, a little fruity, where you can again pick out a banana flavor. Very palatable.
This is a great Hefe, I highly recommend it. improvjock (105), Namegata-shi, Ibaraki-ken, Japan

Big wheat and some citrus on the nose and the taste. Different from the "American style" hefes I’m used to, but I enjoyed it. A great refresher on a hot summer day.
