Can/Tap/bottle, whatever. For me this is the perfect weizen and one of the few beers that I actually prefer served from a can. Amazing rocky head on a dark golden hazy body. Aroma is full of banana, fresh bread and fruit (melon) leading to a lively palate showcasing sweet malt with clean, nutty wheat flavor. Phenolic but not over the top. Mouth feel is full, but carbonation is a bit unpleasant as with most weizenbiers - but nonetheless suitable for style. A beautiful brunch-companion.

Pours from the 16.9 oz (25% more than your regular 12 ouncer!) bottle a cloudy apple juice amber with a foamy one finger head that settles int a thick collar. Mild carbonation present in the haze. Aroma is tangy citrus with maybe a hint of banana. Taste is a sharp snap of crisp, tart citrus and banana. The tell-tale wheat zing is very present and also very refreshing! Mouthfeel is crisp, slighly effervescent, and medium bodied. Drinkability is very good, especially on a sweltering summer day! Overall, this is a very tasty beer. I picked up a single for sampling & rating purposes, but i’ll soon be going back for a couple of sixers to put away for those hot, humid summer days to come!

Bottle and tap. A bit cleaner and fresher tasting on tap. Pours a wonderful golden yellow with a huge, dense head. Aromas of yeast, banana, lemon, some candied orange towards the end. Crisp, refreshing mouthfeel, with wheat and yeast being most prominent. Plenty of carbonation, with some wonderful banana esthers for a finish. A Great beer.

Exceptional hefeweizen. One of my favourite styles, and this version just proves why. It pours a lovely, consistent cloudy orange marmalade colour with a thick, creamy and lasting head. Dusty banana and cloves aroma with a hint of tutti frutti. A great balanced flavour, with the sweetness counteracted with some sour and bitter. It’s very fresh in the mouth with a medium body and a satisfying aftertaste. I’ll be definitely going back for more of this.

I have had this several times on the tap and 12 oz. bottle and both serve extremely well accompanying most meals. It is clean and light, with enough flavor to keep up with light or heavy dishes. The banana finish is noticeable but not intrusive. One of the most drinkable good beers I’ve had. Definitely one to pick up for entertaining - a great crowd pleaser.

My favorit everyday Hefeweizen. Perfect cloudy golden look, with a thick white head. Aroma is full of fruity esters, banana, oranges. Palate is smooth, which makes the sensation like a fresh desert. Flavor is again very smooth, with sweet wheat being dominant and backed up by a nicely mesured amount of hobs, giving the brew an edge. Nice

Pint Bottle...Poured a thick, hazy, golden orage with a great frothy white-to-beige head that lasted quite a bit. The palate was well carbonated with flavors of strong bananas, toasty malts and yeast, very sweet and sugary. Smooth finsh with a slight metalic kick back. One of my fav German Weizens.

Pours like a good hefe should-small, tight head, cloudy tannish yellow. Smells of all that is good hefe. Tastes same but plus heavier carbonation. Overall a solid choice for a good hefe
