Poors a spicy mustard brown/yellow color. Cloudy with a fine head. Apricot, lemon, fruit, clove, pepper. Very tasty and almost as spicy as franziskaner. Smooth with a touch of sweetness. Wheaty fruity after taste, mmm.

Bottle dated 05/2007. Cloudy, golden appearance. I was barely able to see the outline of my fingers through the glass. Banana flavor followed by very subtle honey and citrus notes. A nice accompaniment to sitting outside by the pool.

29.08.2008, 0,5l Bottle. The colour is golden and the beer is cloudy and lively carbonated. Fruity aroma with citrus and flowers. Very fresh and good beer.

Ive grown to really dig Hefeweizens.A mini keg of this would rule.So sinkable,i’d like to stop and think about Paulaner Hef-but can not put the glass down to .A great murky orange-big cream top. CLassic flavours.Wheaty dryness.Loads of banana esters, spices and clove.I got some smoke from the yeast.Waxy on the palate.ACool 1.

Bottle. This should be the benchmark by which to judge other weizens. While most are similar in style and character, few make my mouth water when looking back on them. This beer however sets that tone, and not bad for a mass produced beer easily available.

Bottle. Cloudy golden pour. Fluffy head with some large bubbles present. The usual for this style, banana and clove. Refreshing summer beer. Another quality hefe from the Germans, who rarely disappoint with this style. They know their wheat beers well.

Bottle. Hazy light copper color with a thick, creamy head that last. Aroma is full of the nice hefe phenols...cloves and bananas along with a hint of wheat. Very nice....somewhat subtle. Flavor: big bananas upfront, finishes with a hint of spice. Some bubblegum in the finish. Carbonation is high and the body is light. Overall, a very nicely done beer....refreshing. Definitely a nice beer for a hot summer day. Banana is a little too prominent for my own taste, but I can’t knock them for that.
