The blandness of the main stream beers is said to be an intentional marketing ploy - "to offend as few people as possible." I believe that this beer is the best I have ever tasted which is not in conflict with that. In other words, anyone who likes the main stream beers should love this one.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 1, 2009 On tap; had this in Columbus. Color was a darker orange color. Aroma of sweet malt and bread. Flavor was solid, mostly dry with a bit of sweetness in the end. What you would want and expect from the style. I picked it up because of the charming picture on the bottle, but fell in love with the amber color, slight nuttiness, and full mouthfeel. Years later, it’s not quite as amazing as I once though it was, but it holds up far better than some other beers that once impressed me. aaronbr (59), Palo Alto, California, USA

It’s smooth and tasty, light but flavorful Frovigalning (472), , Sweden
