Bottle. Was available at party today. Brown pour. Flavors of dark wheat, sugar, and nuts. Decent beer.

Flavors are very mild. Overall this gives the impression of a what a basic beer should be. The blandness of the main stream beers is said to be an intentional marketing ploy - "to offend as few people as possible." I believe that this beer is the best I have ever tasted which is not in conflict with that. In other words, anyone who likes the main stream beers should love this one. If you want a lot of flavor look elsewhere.

Poured amber in color with a creamy, off-white head that settle to a thin cover and left light lacing. The aroma was of caramel, spices, and a light roast. The flavor found chocolate and spices. Light body with a malty aftertaste.

On tap; had this in Columbus. Color was a darker orange color. Aroma of sweet malt and bread. Flavor was solid, mostly dry with a bit of sweetness in the end. What you would want and expect from the style.

This was the beer that first got me into good beer. I picked it up because of the charming picture on the bottle, but fell in love with the amber color, slight nuttiness, and full mouthfeel. Years later, it’s not quite as amazing as I once though it was, but it holds up far better than some other beers that once impressed me.

Poured from a bottle. Dark copper hue. Smell is sweet and malty. Has a bready mouthfeel and tastes a little spicy. Finish has a bit of hops, but nothing spectacular.

Clear amber/copper color with a nice off-white head. Aroma is malty, with a sweet biscuity character and a little bit of spiciness. Taste is light and grainy, with sweet malt and a touch of black tea. This beer is absurdly easy to drink. It’s smooth and tasty, light but flavorful

500 ml bottle. It poured a clear pale golden liquid with a small white foam. Stingy smell of sweet malt. Smooth mouthfeel with just a bit of stingyness. Weak taste of malt. Watery and light body, low bitterness and no taste of hops. Not allot of carbonation.
