Oct 7, 2008 Tap at Heidi´s Bierbar Århus. Beer of The month october2008. Dark yellow but still far from amber colour, with a nice white foam. Aroma and taste of malts, bread, a bit caramel, hops and straw. Fresh mouthfeel but a bit short finish. Very drinkable all year around.

Oct 6, 2008 Bottle from By the Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a deep burnt amber body with a small white head. Malty, sticky, bready, mildly sweet and caramel flavored. Very nice balance with a mild hop bite in the finish. Yum!

Oct 3, 2008 Aroma is rich malt, roasted nuts and sweet honey with a background of hops. Pours rich copper color, no head retention and super-clear. Flavor begins with sweet honey and roasted nuts and a nice smooth carmeliness. Finishes with a spiciness in the throat, probably from the hops. Medium to light body. Drinkability is medium to low. Not that impressive. Seems a little off style for a Marzen.

Oct 2, 2008 Kinda weak for a oktoberfest beer.. Poured a dark brown color kinda like flat root beer. you could taste alttle hops. lets face it this beer sucked

Oct 2, 2008 Roasty dark malts combined with some fruit esters, and a bit doughy. It pours a red amber with a full white head that fizzles into a white collar, nice lacing. Nice sweet flavor, that is not too sweet, minor tartness, great balance mid-tongue bitterness. Perfect, velvety smooth, beautiful balance.

Oct 1, 2008 I think this is a superb oktoberfest. Big, bold malt, bread, and caramel flavors. A rich body with a sweet, spicy tang followed by just the right touch of hop in the finish. I’ll pour another.
