12 oz bottle, thanks from Beerlord. Nice amber color with thin white head. Aroma is faint with the flavors before mentioned, first sip is light, then the textures creep in. I’m not as much into ambers or Oktober beers, as I like mine much darker, but this is a very drinkable beer.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into pint glass. Dark golden color with a 1 finger head which faded quickly. Virtually no lacing on the glass. Malty, nutty aroma. Full malt flavor with hints of nuts and fruit, light on the carbonation. Smooth finish with just enough hops to balance. This is an excellent example of this style. Would definitely buy again.

I had a keg of it shipped up from Munich for a private Octoberfest party. Made for a great time. THE classic interpretation of this style. Hey folks-- Oktoberfests are meant as a darker, chuggable beer. Syrupy Spatens or unbalanced Sam Adams don’t ’cut the mustard’-- with brats ’n’ kraut or otherwise, like this one. Yum!

Pours out a deep orange color with little to no head. Aroma is faint caramel, honey, and sweet esters. Taste is very malty, more caramel, doughy, and a bit of a nutty finish. Not bad but not great either, typical for marzens.

12 oz. bottle from Wine Warehouse produced on 05/08. Bronze pour with a medium offwhite head. Very grainy aroma with some caramel and banana overtones. Taste is toasted malts, cereal and some fruity notes. Crisp and medium bodied. Very nice.

2008 Bottle - Pours brown with a large tan head, aroma is sweet and grassy/grainy, nice alcohol, but no bubbles, flavour is your standard malty marzen with a bit of toast, bit of fruit, I prefer some others over this one..

Puours a clear dark amber with an off-white head. Flavor is sweet, aroma and flavor include honey, and caramel malt. A nice Oktoberfest Bier that is filled with tradition.

Bottle. Dirty amber pour with a nice creamy head. Aroma of malt and barnyard. Taste of grain, almond and burnt malt. Nice finish. Great for a fall session brew.
