12 oz. bottle. Pours an amber color with a light off-white head which quickly dissipates. Well-balanced between hops and malts. Light to medium bodied. Finishes a little better. Not bad.

Bottled 50cl. Extremely well balanced and pleasant. Sweet malty with notes of gooseberries in both nose and taste. Bitter finish. Great!

Pours a nice amber without much head. What is there disipates quickly. Aroma is of caramel, but is very week and hard to detect. Very malty taste, slightly sweet. Feels smooth in my mouth. Just a hint of hops on the finish that leaves a slightly dry taste in my mouth. This is a great beer.

Extremely impressive Oktoberfest beer. One of the best, if not the best that I have ever had. Dark reddish amber color, crystal clear, pours with a perfect 1" of head. Smell is very typical and fairly sweet, taste was just wonderful, the start and finish were totally different but each was quite good. Go try this brew!

1 pint, .9 fl. oz. bottle purchased at QFC in Mukilteo, WA. Pours a brown amber, with a very malty flavor profile. This is probaly one of the best Oktoberfest beers I’ve ever had from a bottle.

One Liter CAN! Sour barley and caramel malt aroma. Medium yellow color with moderate but quickly disappating head. Slightly sweet barley malt flavor. Decent - nothing great. Primarily meant to be drunk a liter at a time.

bottle. poured clear amber with a thin cream colored head. retention was ok, could be better. aroma favored caramel with a slight citrus. flavor was caramel with some hop bitterness in the end. a bit watery though.

Amber in appearance, small head. Strong malty aroma. A bit too hoppy to taste for a Maerzen, in my opinion. It’s not as sweet compared to others either. Some carbonation. Not a bad beer, but there are others of this style that are better.
