Enticing and welcoming. Burnt copper color with a large fluffy head that gradually settles leaving behind some long lacing. Refreshing and sugary sweet. Mild body, clean and drinkable. Amazing Oktoberfest flavor, this beer is a prime benchmark for this style. Taste of toffee and lightly roasted nuts. Sugary sweet with fresh biscuit flavors and toasted malt. Balanced by a mild bitterness. This is great. BigMilly8 (376), Holiday, Florida, USA

Nose of grains and some malt...maybe a little caramel note. Flavor is much the same. Thin to medium body on the tongue, nice smoothness. jwdevalue (158), Neptune, New Jersey, USA

Strong bready malt aroma, slightly honeyish, with faint grasy hops. Medium bodied with smooth mouthfeel. Flavour is a bit too much on the sweet side. dmtroyer (410), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 28, 2007 12oz. One of the better oktoberfests I’ve been drinking. Moderate carbonation, pleasant sweetness that does well with the creamy malts. Smooth and highly drinkable (should be when they’re serving it in liter glasses) Puts some domestic attempts to shame.
