(Bottle from Alko). Slightly darker than a basic lager with frothy head. Malty, sweetish, full, slightly hoppy and all the way smooth. I need to have another one of these, but it seemed a bit flat and uninteresting compared to Ayinger Oktoberfest. Still good and dangerously easy drinking for such a high alc vol..

I am a big fan of the Paulaner Hefe so I was really looking forward to this beer. Unfortunately, it was a thin watery brew that lacked any complexity. It was quite malty and had a slightly sweet then soapy finish. Not a great Oktoberfest.

Light golden body with thin fissy head. Aroma of malt and small citrusy notes. Flavor of bready malt and citrusy hops. Palate is thin. Simple and nice balanced.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a crystal clear amber with a moderate yellow/white head that faded to a film after several sips. Light, indistinct aroma. A bit of malt in the flavor, otherwise indistinct flavor as well. Moderate hops bitterness at the finish. This is a completely unspectacular beer.

(bottle): Pours a golden brown color, yellow/white head. Somewhat lasting. Small bubbles. Very malty aroma. Weakish aroma. Chemically watery refreshing taste, clean aftertaste. Malty taste. Not too strong a flavor. Not my stylë

12 oz bottle. pours an opaque orange/amer with medium tight white head. has aroma of malt toast and somewhat estery. Why does it say Ale on the label? Octoberfest has always been lagers. Especially there version..Tastes less dry and crisp. some of the malkt flavor gets lost in these esters anfinishes less dry than i remember.
