Try one, but don’t bother with a six-er.

Aroma shows sweet malts, honey, slight iced tea, barley. Taste is sweet, rich and malty, slightly light bodied with a dry finish. Does not stick out amongst its style and I’m a fan of the brewery. Nice dark copper/brown color. Nice fluffy head that eventually fades away. An average look for a marzen lager. Fairly transparent. That caramel malt is very pungent. Not a heavily hopped from what I smell, but there is a slight hop aroma; still a fairly pungent beer, but not very nuanced. Malty beer that doesn’t add up. The beer is very light in terms of a marzen lager. I was expecting a creamier palate, and a thicker beer. Caramel malt flavor is there, but not very nuanced. A slight biscuit and hop flavor towards the end. Not a very memorable beer for me. Glad to have tried. gunnar (577), Sandnes, Norway
