brettpace (174), Northridge, California, USA Oct 3, 2007 Weak aroma, taste, not so great, better than budweiser, but not by much... I think it may be a tad bit overrated on this site.
weaselkenievil (369), Cheshire, England Oct 3, 2008 Draft at some bar on Deansgate, Manchester. With a range of shite lagers, I went for this and really enjoyed it on a sunny day. Clear pale-ish golden colour with a nice white head. Really nice and easy to drink on a lovely summer day that pissed it down just as I got up to leave. Crisp and nice. Not what I’ve been drinking all year and liked the change and something decent to drink in a toss bar. Which may have bumped the numbers up. Defreni (513), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 3, 2008 Dåse. Rimelig anonym duft, en anelse ris. Smagen er behagelig let, med et ganske fint bid. Men ellers ikke nogen fantastisk øl. Men bestemt ikke dårlig. redgold07 (308), Irving, Texas, USA Oct 1, 2008 Pours a clear golden color with a pretty big white head. Aroma is floral with a little bit of skunk. Flavor is grassy, with light fruit and a little sweet.
On tap at Addison Oktoberfest. Svesse (1811), Hässelby, Sweden Sep 25, 2008 (Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 24 Sep 2008) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, grassy nose with grain, hay and grassy hops. Malty taste with notes of white bread, hay and grassy hops in the finish. Moderate bitterness, medium body, some malt sweetness. Well balanced, clean, crisp and flawless, but not really exciting. Unholy_Brewing (311), Melbourne, Australia Sep 14, 2008 ...bottle. Nice clear golden color with a lasting white head and lively carbonation. On the nose were floral hops, corn, and malt. Flavors were a balance of malt, hops, grain and some fruit notes. Mouthfeel was soft, easy drinking, light\medium bodied, very pure and clean tasting. Ended with a dryish finish of some citrusy notes, hops and grain. Perfect example of the style, a great Hellish lager.
