Bottle, from Fleggaard, Süderlügum, DE. Pours a nice nut-brown with a creamy, but rather small beige head. Sweet aroma, some degree of caramel, a little touch of roasted. Flavour is equally sweet, caramel-based with a little roasted again. There is a lingering chocolate at the end. Sadly there is some metallic tones in there as well. Aftertaste is very long and lingering.

Bottle 0,5l at Viktualienmarkt München 18 Jun 07. Dark amber coloured.Sweet malty aroma. Creamy head. A modest fruity flavor. A roasted bitter finish. An ordinary dunkel.

500ml bottle shared with Finn in the biergarten at Viktualienmarkt, München. Clear ruby brown with a filmy layer. Sweet malts dominate the vague smell. Roasted, but not burnt malt in flavour plus sweet toasty notes. Maybe a bit too sweet. Medium bodied (18.06.2007)

[Sampled in 2004.] Had expected much more, but it was too thin for my "glasses". Normal notes, but thinbodied and lack of ingredients makes this beer just a mainstream fluid.

Bottle. Amber color. Yeast noted in aroma with caramel malt. Nutty, malty, some biscuit and toffee. Fairly smooth and balanced. Another low ranking for Paulaner??? Good brew.

A copper brown colour, with a honey malt nose, and a rich fruity malt flavour. well balanced.
