On tap at The Castle on King- Pours a sparkling gold liquid capped with a thick foamy froth, leaving good lace. The aroma is subtle grass, hay, some wood, and a touch of malty lemony goodness. The flavour profile is cookie/biscuit upfront with hay/lemon mid way and finishes with a good fresh hop lemon profile. Nice bite to the finish. Subtle and enjoyable session beer.

On tap: Puts a clear pale gold lager in the glass with a 2 finger white sticky cap moderate retention, reduces to a surface cap and laces well. Aroma of fresh biscuits with a herbal-woody under tone. Stable malt spine, some biscuit malt up front, lovely herbal-woody-lemony discernment in the middle then a nice biscuit snap at the finish balanced with more earthy notes. A fine helles for sessions...I think I like this better than the Hacker helles.

12 oz. bottle poured into lager glass- poured transparent golden yellow, white head formed and slowly bubbled away. Aroma of malt, grains, and hops. Hits the mouth with a defined thin body, malt and hops noticeable but not overpowering, finish melts away, very refreshing.

A very good lager on tap and better than average in a bottle. Very crisp and slightly hoppy...overall pretty good for a lager.

16.9 oz bottle-A clear golden body with a small white covering for a head. Aroma of grains, malt, and a little hops. Taste of grains, yeasty, bread like with a little dryness on the back end. An easy drinking brew.
