Pale yellow color. Small and very gaseous head. A good aroma, candy, with something of herbs. In paladar, in the beginning, it is very sweet (the caramel is very well-known). It finishes pleasantly, with nice hoppy. The body is very light, much. It is a good standard beer, no more. Braincage1 (139), Cary, North Carolina, USA

Fairly average hop aroma like your typical lager. Starts with a sweet tang then reveals the ginger spice that it promises. Light hop finish. The color and spice make this lager a refreshing and pleasant beer. biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 29, 2007 I really like their weiss beer, so I decided to give this a try. Poured golden yellow. Not bad, but no real characteristic that stood out. Very drinkable, however. Kalli (480), Falun, Sweden
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 22, 2007 Straw to gold coloured with a rapidly receding head. Faint grainy aroma, but still in a good way, really. The taste has also some grainyness but different from other beers I’d describe in that way. Better finished really. Thus the malts are rather dry and the hoppiness light but not at all nonexistent.
Still, it’s probably among the more pleasant beers of the light lager persuasion (light lager not meaning light light if you know what I mean) I’ve had. Fresh tasting and pretty faultless, which can’t be that easy to achieve in a beer like this.
Class act really and objectively it should maybe have scored higher. In the end though, I’m not very likely to seek this out. Perhaps I’ll think of some food pairing that requires a light lager and then this will definitely be on my short list. SHIG (2037), Aviano, Italy

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 16, 2007 Bottle. Sort of grainy aroma backed by some hop. Rather non-descript, but at least it does not smell like corn. Brassy color with a white head that tries to lace. Starts a bit thin, grainy, grassy. The saving point is that there is some hop. The finish is relatively dry, and the hop lightly dominates. Not all that bitter, except compared to the evil Bud! I’d drink it, if no ale whatsoever were available. It is kind of growing on me. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Poured medium golden with a nice frothy long-lasting head. The nose had a just barely discernible skunkiness but after the first drink I didn’t notice it anymore. This is a pretty bitter and medium bodied lager, a fairly typical Bavarian beer. Works for me.
