Golden color out of the 12 oz. bottle with a fluffy white head. Yeasty nose with some buscuit. Very good with a sausage and kraut meal. Bready malts with subtle citrus flavors. Tastes like most imported European lagers. Best with food.

Stein at Oktoberfest Bar in Fulham (London), clear light copper with a large white foamy head. Grassy hop aroma but with some fruity notes. Quite smooth with a light mouthfeel, bitter dry palate along with some sweeter notes. Pretty good.

Bottle from Hy-Vee Liquors poured into lager glass - Pours gold with a 2 finger off white head and very lively carbonation; Malt, hops, light caramel and something I simply can’t distinguish to the nose; Malt, bread, very light hops, some spice on the initial taste; Bready, lightly spicey backtaste; Good carbonation that doesn’t get in the way, medium-full palate; Bottle is labeled Original Munich, obviously the English translation. Overall, not too shabby. I was pleasantly surprised by this brew. Drinkable. Doesn’t assault you with flavor, just kind of refreshes you. Nice when you’re just looking for a decent beer to quench your thirst. Price to quality ratio is a bit lopsided in my region though. Not the best from Paulaner, but definitely nothing to pitch down the drain!

This beer was very disappointing especially in its price range. It poured and had a watery appearence which was consistent with its taste. Head looked very carbonated. Not a good one. The Miller light draft I had earlier in the night at b dub’s was much better than this.

Bottle. Typical malty aroma. Extremely clear with a thin white head.Good carb. Smooth texture, but a bit dull on taste. Delicate bitterness. Pleasant to drink but nothing special.

Slightly sweet malty aroma some DMS from pils malt, noble Spalt, saaz,Haleetaur, Tettnagner aroma...of of the four or two. Grain and malt dominate taste with slight hop bitterness, 16-22 IBU. Malty but not fully attenuated. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Clear golden pour with a thin lasting white head. Aroma is slightly malty and a smooth easy drinking creamy malty flavour.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with little head. Light aroma of hops. Very subtle flavor of hops with a crisp finish. Not a lot of flavor but a nice, very drinkable beer. Definately a beer i wouldn’t mind drinking on a hot summer day.
