Oct 5, 2006 Bottle: Poured a golden yellow color lager with a nice medium foamy head with average retention. Aroma of floral malt is light but pleasant. Taste is quite light with some floral malt with some sweetness and a slightly dry finish with low hops. Well done beer with limited complexity but very refreshing.

Oct 1, 2006 inoffensive lager. Light malty aroma. Pours a golden yellow, carbonated. Flavour is mostly grassy, a slight cornish finish. Mildly refreshing. Maybe I’ve just moved on from drinking lagers. I have a hard time enjoying them at the best of times, even when they are supposedly above average.

Sep 26, 2006 Light golden color with a fluffy white head. Aroma of bread, malt and some floral hops. Nice malty flavor without a lot of sweetness. Very full and soft mouthfeel. An excellent lager.

One of the best lagers. Premium indeed. Paulaner really makes good beer for pleasant evenings. Way above average lager with great aftertaste.

Sep 12, 2006 From a 1 pt. 9 oz. euro brown bottle with a produced on date in lower right hand corner of front label.
Poured a clear pale yellowish golden with a foamy white head that settled into a thin lacing, very minimal amount of sticking.
Aromas of toasted grains and bready, a light yeastiness and spices, hints of a fruitiness.
Moderate carbonation and a crisp, velvety smooth light-medium bodied mouthfeel.
A nice premium, Helles lager taste, toasty and bready with a touch of dry crackers, spicy, lemony hops, a good soft crispness from the hops, and a dryish malty finish.
Another good lager from Paulaner, tasty and balanced, deserves at a place in your refrigerator.

Sep 12, 2006 Bottled version. Made by CCU in Chile under license. Pale golden color. Artificial carbonatation. White and relative slow-collapsing head. Acceptable lacing. Vage hoppy smell. Some skunky and traces. Watery. Weak cereal taste and a very slighty bitterness of hops. A bit sweet aftertaste.

Noble hops and malty malt fill the nose in a perfectly balanced crispness. Crystal bright straw with a fizzy top that doesn’t last long. The flavour is everything that the aroma promised: modestly sweet malt that tastes like it just came from the farm complimented by a pleasant, spicy hops flavour and gentle bitterness. My only complaint is a more than detectable taste of ethanol that penetrates the gentle flavour. Quite a bit of body for such a small beer. Could use a tad more carbonation too.
