Pale, golden in color with small quickly diminishing head. Aroma is malt, slightly sweet with notes of floral and sourdough bread. Flavor is slightly sweet with floral notes. A good beer indeed.

Bottle. Caramel aroma notes, pale straw colour, somewhat faint hoppy and minerally background flavour, quite a pleasant lager

Bottle from Tesco. Pale straw coloured lager with a big fluffy white head. Malty aroma with hints of breakfast cereal, wafer biscuit and honey. Prickly carbonation upfront with soft, sweet malt, ice cream wafers, cereal and a slight sharp lemon hop finish. A good quality German lager but not outstanding.

Pint, off tap, at The Clifton, Bristol. Translucently clear green-copper gold colour. Aromas of freshly cut grass, accompanied by vanilla and caramel. Good pils/lager flavour, metallic, perhaps slightly sweet and hoppy. A faint bitter finish. I found this beautifully smooth and refreshing to drink - a fine example of German Lager.

Middle of the road premium lage. Piured pale gold, quickly dissapating foamy white head. Smooth flavor, very little hops. Strong for water, weak for beer.

Pours a yellow color, with aromas of fruit and yeast. Goes down fairly smooth. A bit boring, but nothing wrong with it.

Bottled. I was a little concerned since the 6-pack I bought had some dust on it. It had a very hoppy and malty scent to it. A little too much carbonation in my opinion. Paulaner has grassy hops, fruity aftertaste (possibly citrus or banana). Has a faint bitter finish. Very refreshing and easy to drink with. Paulaner Munich Hell could be my standard German lager! Way better than Beck’s and Warsteiner!

Bottle. No stand out aroma. Appearance is a typical premium lager appeal. Flavor is crisp with a sweet hoppy taste to it and mild bitters. Goes down smooth and can make you wish for another one.
