Looked good, gold with a tall white head. Very faint malt aroma. Very faint malt tastes atop a super-soft mouthfeel. Little hopping. VERY clean finish. So and so. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 2, 2005 Bottle. A big bold head that came racing out of the bottle full of fluff, which started the pulse racing. Sadly, the nose was of wet dog hair (which later softened to a ripish malt, but still an oddity there). Palate was rather short (all front and mid) for this style. Not a big beer, still drinkable though not great. maltdog (517), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 31, 2005 Bottle. Straw colored with a small, dazzling white snowdrift of foam. Head has decent staying power and leaves sparse, spotty lacing. Malty nose with a sulfur edge is supported by mild scents of honey, flower garden, wet sycamore tree, hot crusty bread, and glazed carrots. Allowing the beer to warm reveals the musky, nutty perfume of barley mash. Flavor: lackluster, lemonlike tart sweetness leads to mineral water, then bread and butter. Barest noble hop spiciness in the aftertaste. Thin and slippery in the mouth. Once it hit my lips, the beer was a total letdown. swirl (267), collingswood, New Jersey, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 30, 2005 Pale straw coloring with no head. Doesn’t have a strong aroma just faint honey scent. A full crisp flavor with hints of clove. It rests in the center of the palate and finishes with an almost metallic bite. sayravai (3750), Helsinki, Finland

Honey-fruity aroma of cooked vegetables. Lightly malty, sweetish flavor with a metallic finish. Quite light-bodied, carbonated palate with not much going on. A reasonably refreshing, but quite dull brew. haukur (684), Reykjavik, Iceland
