Hoppy aroma, floral, with mild bitter astringency. Golden yellow clear with thin white lacing head. Medium light body with medium carbonation. Starts with medium acidity, hoppy resins, papery stale, with light malt. Medium dry hoppy finish, with no harsh bitterness. Decent malt though not overly sweet. A pretty good balance for a lager.

Pale goldne colour. Frothy, medium head. Malty, bready aroma. Tastes bready, slightly sweet and malty with a hint of sourness. Good mouthfeel. A bit too boring to excite me.

Pours a nice medium golden color. Aroma is grainy and a little sour. Flavor is a little malty and grainy. Also a little metallic. Nothing special. Decent lager.

Ham ’n eggs in a bottle. (Maybe it sat on the shelf too long, though it was plucked from a refrigerator.) Certainly better on all fronts than a typical American lager, though.

Draft at Capital Ale House Innsbrook. Golden body with a small white head. Nose is malty and bready with light grain aromas. Taste is malt with stronger bread notes and some mild hop and grassiness. Body is medium and well carbonated. Finishes with more malt, sourdough bread, and with mild grass notes.

Fragrant floral and fruity aroma with a malty nose. Gold with a small white head that totally dissipates. Buttery and mildly bitter flavor, a bit fruity. Bold and refreshing palate.

duvel tulip glass, very hot and spicy foods: a lager! crisp delicious! oh wait... this is a bit thick and cremey for a lager. some banana notes as well. hmm. refreshing. i must rate on a clean palate. thus the rating is for now: strong!

17 July 2004 - Sweet wheat and citrus and aroma. Clear yellow golden colour with a reasonable white head, with suds lacing and ordinary head retention. Ordinary sweet wheat flavour. Dry lingering crisp hop finish that is a bit ordinary. In a word ’plain’.
