Malty aroma with a very slight citrus edge. Deep malty taste with hints of lemon and a dry finish. Rounded palate, yet at the same time it’s slightly thin. Easy to drink but nothing special. Clear yellow with white head. A good Hellles. Smooth and creamy. A bit watery for a great rating. A good standard to judge other helles by. There are better and worse. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 3, 2008 Pour: Pale yellow gold, with a 1-2 finger frothy white head that fades to a skim in a couple minutes, but has good retention at that point and leaves specks of lacing.
Aroma: Straw, grassy hops, sweet grainy malts, white bread crust toastiness.
Flavor: Lots of grainy malts, faint lemony and floral hops, decent grassy hops, sweet grainy malts.
Finish is low on bitterness, grassy hops linger with a vague maltiness.
Body: Thin and watery, carbonation is about right. Muggus69 (566), Sydney, Australia

Served chilled in glass.
Clean bright gold body with smallish white foam.
Subtle malty aroma, honey and grainy biscuit, faint fruitiness.
Body is quite lean, bit of malt sweetness, moderate carbonation. Light dryness to it, bitterness is quite subdued.
Malt character seems dominant, grainy malt, cereal grains remisant of rice and wheat, subtle floral and apple fruitiness. Finish has only a slight length bringing out a bit of sweetness.
Easy going Helles-style lager. Nothing to write home about, but very clean and quaffable leaning towards the malty end of the scale.
