Not my favorite pilsener. Straw and grassy pilsener flavor, but a little fizzy and weak for me. Crisp brief finish. Very mild and watery flavor. A little on the sweet side.

Nov 20, 2008 Draft at Pub Italia in Ottawa. Dull gold appearance. The rest is a very typical German lager, with a definite hit of hops and sweet malt. Perhaps uninteresting, but certainly solid and it was a nice palate cleanser after sampling some heavier beers.

Oct 15, 2008 Very stong hoppy aroma. Straw color with a quick diminishing head. Very good flavor. Has an unexpected slight caramel sweetness to it that was very nice. Ends with a pleasant yet not overpowering bitterness. One of the best pilseners I’ve had.

Oct 14, 2008 Biggish fine-bubbled very white lasting head. Yellow body with light carbonation. Light straw and grass aroma, very clean and harmonic. Delicate dry straw and grass taste, again very harmonic, with grainy faintly papery notes. Light, delicate, clean palate. Dry long grassy aftertaste. Very nice! (0.3l draft, Paulaner Restaurants, Leipzig.)

Sep 23, 2008 12oz bottle-pours a foamy white head and pale yellow color. Aroma is sweet grain/grassy, lemon, Euro skunk. Taste is sweet grain/grassy, lemon, Euro skunk. Dry, some champagne character.
