GreatLibations (1294), Sasquatcho, Arizona, USA Jul 12, 2008 Pours pale yellow w/ a decent head that reduces to a silky canopy. Very mild aromtics of bitter malt. Very mild flavored w/ a bitter definition.
cazort (368), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 4, 2008 (Bottle) Definitely one of the better NA brews that I’ve had, but in my opinion falls short of the best because the hops are not powerful enough. This one is definitely more malty than hoppy, and although the malt is fairly rich, it is lacking complexity. In my opinion, I prefer both Clausthaler for the hops and Buckler for the overall complexity. Too expensive. I am giving this beer such a high rating because I believe I need to compensate for the low ratings that people give to NA brews. Angeloregon (2000), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 3, 2008 Bottle from Edelweiss in Portland, OR--Poured a sparkling but mildly hazy golden body with a medium white head. Bready crisp and not overly sweet for a N/A. Very thirst quenching a well-balanced. punkeedo (383), San Antonio, Texas, USA Aug 2, 2008 I feel as though I should be somewhat forgiving, since this is a low alcohol selection. However, compared to other beers, it just doesn’t cut it. Very light aroma; light yellow appearance with thick, but quickly dissipating white head. A dry taste of malt with a watery and metallic aftertaste. Not good. kidmartinek (731), austin, Texas, USA Mar 2, 2008 Pours a straw color. Has a strong malt flavor, sweet, corn, with a kiss of hops. Almost no lacing. Watery, bland, tastes like corn syrup. Why?
