Rich brown, turbid. Sour aroma. Full bodied, a bit sharp and sour like a good old brown ale. yespr (12404), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 5, 2008 Dark red brown colour with thin soapy head. Sweet and sour flavour that despite the alcohol content taste bland and weak. Not my favourite style.

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 11, 2007 Red to dark amber color. As Oud Bruin, it’s really mild, sweetish, without character. The final is very weak and short, with just some woody character. nuplastikk (1217), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 29, 2007 A more subtle, lightly carbonated example of an oud bruin. Malty...less acidic than some other examples, but still has a nice tangy finish, This beer is quite drinkable and enjoyable. The alcohol content is barely detectable. A perfect oud bruin for novices and experts alike. BartC (402), Lichtaart, Belgium
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 23, 2007 Clear dark red color. Off white very quickly disappearing head. Very poor carbonation. Aroma of raisins and some caramel. Raisins in the flavor as well. only a bit of sourness. A lot less than what I would expect from a Oud Bruin.
