Feb 28, 2007 [166-20061229] 330mL. Sweet Christmas pudding aroma, lightly sour. Dark brown-black body with medium-lasting off-white foamy head. Fairly sour beery apple flavour. Medium body, almost wine-like with an apple feel. Seems overly sour.

Dec 29, 2006 Bottle. Very dark brown with a moderate creamy tan head. (3+) Sweet malt aroma with light notes of acidity. Light dry malt in the flavour with a light hint of green apples, fairly sour undertones are a bit off-puting. Average to thin palate is effervescent. Meh.

Dec 10, 2006 Bottle. Pours a dark brown body with red tinges and a creamy off-white head. Nutty roast aroma, hazelnuts, raw beans, and some vanilla. Medium bodied with nutty flavours, toast, and chocolate. Dryish finish.

Nov 22, 2006 Cloudy dark brown w/ soft finger of light brown foam. Aroma of roasted, chocolate malt w/ a light, slightly tart fruitiness. Highly carbonated, spritzy feel. Sweet, malty, somewhat sour flavour w/ notes of licorice & espresso. Finish is bitter & mildly earthy.
