Lubiere (3966), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Mar 22, 2009 A dark amber orange ale with a thick off white head. A doughy aroma of grainy malt, cream, light acidic points, and warming alcohol. A sourish ale with mineral notes, lemon...seemed like an infected strong ale, or a rather light bodied gueuze. Overall, dissapointing. Bottle at Volo, March 21 2009, 9.95$ down the drain. pumpmaster (420), Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA Apr 13, 2008 33cl bottle purchased at A Tutta Birra Milan, Italy for 4.40 euro. Good strong beer. KnutAlbert (2928), Oslo, Norway Oct 30, 2007 Bottle form a tutta birra.
Cloudy amber, sweet with some yeastiness. I should probably have let the sediment rest a bit in this one. Fruity, some Belgian style sourness. Quite decent as it warms up. Crockett (904), Steelback County, Ontario, Canada Jul 28, 2007 Pours murky orange/red with tiny beaded head and a little oil slick. Nose is lightly fruity with apples and lemon. More of the same in the flavour. Not especially good. mds (2111), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Dec 10, 2006 Bottle. Pours a hazy/muddy brown-orange body with a small white ring of head. Caramel and toasted malt aroma with light fruity notes and rubber. Grainy fusel alcohol with some sour fruit notes. Interesting but not a true stand-out Radek Kliber (3687), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada Nov 19, 2006 Bottle. (Volo)
Pours thick hazy amber with respectable fine white top (4- ).
Soft, clean warming alcohol aroma. Smooth ale, slightly sour at edges, substantial fruity sweetness. Gentle soft bitterness just made this beer even better.
Sammy (3609), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 22, 2006 The best of the three that have been improrted. Taste a bit like a saaz hop with bold malting. Some ideas that are interesting but altogether so-so. tomthompson89 (1339), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 15, 2006 Had this one thanx to my good friend Doug Shoemaker at Volo. nice malty nose, definatly sour. slightly citrus some sweetness, very nice. Thanx again Doug
