| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 22, 2006 Deep orange body, slightly hazy. Short-lived white head. Smell is rather weak; fruity (orange) and slightly hoppy. Mellow and round malt balanced by a delicate sourness. Yeasty tarty notes may remind of belgian ales, but it’s probably the hops which give the brew a definite English character. Body is medium, drinkability is excellent. Finish is not quite as bold and bitter as I would have liked, but, this is still a very interesting and well-balanced ale, and something you usually don’t expect from Sicily. Good work, P.B. iosonomarco (41), Milano, Italy
