Aug 19, 2008 On tap at PBC. Black pour with a small brown head. Sweet chocolate aroma. Flavor has a nice chocolate malt base, a little roasted, mildly bitter... but very raw tasting.

May 31, 2007 On tap at the PBC ’Brew Pub’. The waitress described this one as being just like Guiness. Poured a dark, dark black color with a smaller sized tan head. Subtle aromas of roast, light chocolate and caramel. Tastes of roast, chocolate, light caramel, and had a light coffee finish. Lacing left on the glass.

Jul 6, 2005 On tap at PBC. Very dark brown. My pint arrived at my table with no head. Nice roasted malt aroma. Flavor is roasted malt and coffee, although a bit thin for a porter. Weak finish.

Feb 22, 2005 poured black, as to be expected. aroma of chocolate , roasted malts and licorire. Great look, great aroma, but the taste was like coffee and water.. Finished with a nice linger bitter/sweet chocolate. Strange, but intruging.
