Hoppy aroma with a little sweetness hiding underneath. Really nice flavor, mildly sweet malt with a dominant but not over the top hop kick, perfectly balanced and easy drinking... the perfect session beer. Probably the best APA ive ever had. beerbill (1955), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 12, 2007 This is a new offering from Pocono Brewing and is not the same beer as the PBC Pale Ale that was brewed several years ago. Draught. Arrived at the table in a pounder glass a clear gold with a very thin head that faded to a ring after several sips. Light aroma of flowery hops and malt. Flavor was a bit light but balanced between malt and hops with some lingering hops bitterness at the finish. Very easy to drink. hopdog (5601), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

The waitress said this was called the ’Old Bastard’ and was an ’Ale’. Poured a medium golden/amber color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of mainly citrus and lightly floral. Tastes of citrus and light caramel. Thinner body.
