Pours light, mostly clear orange with a very small short lived white head. Smell is bright fresh, clean malt and faint simple grassy hops. Taste is rather simple malt, with some lemony character, and lightly bittering and flavored hops. Hint of a lemony tart twang, in a nice way in the finish. Pretty mild and easy drinking but not a lot of flavor. Still not bad at all. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Slight hints of citrusy hops. This will be great when it begins to get humid in the carolinas gottalottaibu (243), charlotte, North Carolina, USA

Although there was no outstanding quality on which to rate this beer, it would in fact be a very good session beer....low in ABV, smooth tasting and a decent finish.
I can and will buy more of these on my next rip to Boone. illinismitty (1799), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 17, 2007 I believe Ross bonused me with this. Pours a hazy golden amber with a fizzy white head. Aroma of seeping grains and faint hops. Flavor of toffee, caramel, and sugar cookie dough with some faint bitterness to offer some counterbalance. Some grassy and grainy notes on the very mild bitter finish. Reminds me of some homebrews I have had. This is nothing special, but deserves a litte more respect than what its getting from others. jsquire (2107), St. Marys, Ohio, USA

Lots of grass and pine hops over a yeasty dough body. Thins as it warms. Better with food. footbalm (1218), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
