(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a cloudy amber golden with a small, off-white head that dissipates in no time. Aroma is primarily yeast (!). Medium-bodied with a low carbonation, notes of yeast and some indefinable fruit. The finish is dry. This is nowhere near a Bitter and as a beer this is no better than a poor homebrew. Sorry Rhys, come again. 190208

Bottle conditioned, poured a hazy copper with a bubbly white head. A strong tangy hop aroma with juicy malt. A very smooth medium mouthfeel, an easy hoppy bitterness with a tangy fruit flavour that increases with the swallow. A good effort (Stuey, I think the Lounge didn’t know how to keep a botle conditioned beer).

Re-tasted 30/12/2007. 500ml bottle from TheGrandmaster. Hazy amber with a thin off-white head. Bready yeast aroma, some floral notes. Cloying, under-attenuated and under-conditioned in the mouth. Grainy caramel character and fruity yeast flavour dominates the mouth. Mild hop bitterness. Still a lot of work to do but certainly on the rise. Tasted 18/08/2007. 500ml bottle from Lounge, Carterton. Gusher! Lost more than a 1/3 of the bottle. There’s nothing left in this beer than banana esters, an aroma of corn chips and a lot of fizz. 0.9
